And just a little bit about his birthday party (aka: dol-Korean First Birthday)...
Location: The Parkhouse, Chino
I wanted to keep it small and simple...so we just got together with some family and friends
Theme: Modern Korean First Birthday
(Zinc letters from Anthropologie)
Colors: Greyscale with a splash of lemon-lime
Fabric: Whatever geometric print I could find in B&W
Table Runners: DIY with Stitch Witch (no sewing!!!)
Centerpieces: Ikea & Homegoods
Catering: Corner Bakery
YUM!!!
Dessert!!! I wanted the centerpiece of the room to be a B&W dessert bar with a modern twist on a lemon topiary. It took forever to find the large vase...but hurray for Target!!!
Desserts by Audrey! She made the cake too!
(thank you, again!!!)
And some from Costco!
It was chocolates galore!!!

Doljabi items: Yarn, Baseball, Pen, Bible, Stethoscope, Money, Rice
The item he chooses is supposed to represent his future
Skipped over the $ and went straight for the rice. I think the rice is supposed to mean that he will never grow hungry/blessing of food? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong~
Thank you for coming out early and staying after to help!!! I love you guys!~
Happy Birthday!!!
